Harp Lessons

Dr Suen-Campbell has recently been appointed as Harp Faculty at Lakehead University in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She maintains a vibrant harp studio in Oakville (Greater Toronto Area), Ontario. 

She is also a Royal Conservatory of Music Certified Teacher (Elementary and Intermediate Specialist).   

Harp lessons are currently available both in-person and online. 

With over 20 years of teaching experience, Dr. Suen-Campbell is equally comfortable in teaching both concert pedal and lever harps. She has been teaching online lessons since 2012. Her students consists of young children to mature adults, from Canada, United States, and China. 


Teresa believes in the individuality of her students and recognizes everyone is different. She uses a variety of repertoire and techniques to nourish their different needs, interests and talents from the syllabus of the Royal Conservatory of Music and beyond. 

She also integrates music theory knowledge in her harp lessons as she is dedicated in building a strong foundation for her students right from the start. 

Students' Achievements:

Dr Suen's students participate actively in studio recitals, masterclasses and have won top prizes and awards regularly in various music festivals, auditions and competitions, such as:

  • Ontario Music Festival & Toronto Kiwanis Music Festival;

  • Ontario Harp Society Scholarship Audition

  • KPU International Music Festival

  •  Gold Medals (Ontario/ National) in the Royal Conservatory Music exams in ARCT, Grade 8, 6 and 2 levels. 


  • Principal Harpist of the Toronto Youth Symphony Orchestra

  • ​Accepted and completed Master of Music degree at Northwestern University, USA. 

  • Appointed as university music lecturer and professional harp teachers. 


Music Coaching/Theory Lessons:


Other than regular harp lessons, Dr Suen-Campbell also offer: 

1. Theory lessons

2. Chamber music coaching, such as flute and harp duet

3. Orchestral and Operatic repertoire coaching. 

Dr Suen-Campbell offers assistance to her harp students in finding harps in the GTA area, either rental or purchase. 


She is also happy to meet any prospective students and parents and to answer any questions they might have.
